Killmer is a quack. Someone should take his license He literally sent my dog home after a dog fight, having severe neck injuries, without recommending I get an x-ray for my dog. My dog was badly injured, but alert. He should have known there was a possibility that some vertebrea could have been displaced after having been shook by a bigger dog. Long story short, I watched my dog deteriorate over the course of the day and he suffered for the last 6 hours of his life as his spinal cord swelled and shut down his life functions. He should have been put down at the clinic, or Killmer could have at least recommended I went to the animal hospital to get an x-ray to know his situation. Hours of agonizing pain and suffering could have been avoided for Merlin. I am traumatized. I'll hear his whines of pain and gasps for breath for the rest of my life. He died on my living room floor and started seizing in my bedroom beforehand. Living in the house will never be the same. The two most used rooms will have these scenes tattooed to my view. The man doesn't deserve to keep his license.

Dr Killmer would not discuss with me the best age to stay our Golden retriever puppy. I read a study done on golden retrievers that concluded to wait until between 1 and 2 years of age. The study showed decreased incidence of cancer and less problems with joint disease. Dr Killmer insists she be spayed at 6 months and he was not aware of this study. He didn't even say he would look into the study...it's his way and that's it.
